MarketsFlow appears to have a complete management team covering every key role and the Founders expect to strengthen the team hiring a CTO in April 2018.
The CEO has evidence of a previous successful exit, and the team has significant experience processing financial data and developing technology platforms.
The Founders have invested over two years developing the platform and they expect a substantial reward if an exit is achieved.
The UK and the US where the company intends to operate are the largest centers of asset management globally with a combined market worth over £30tn.
The team has been developing the platform for a long time and the platform seems able to manage well risk and volatility but the team is in discussions to establish partnerships.
There are other robo-advisors in the industry but no one focused on institutions and MarketsFlow aims to beat them with their use of artificial intelligence and dynamic algorithms.
If the concept is proven this could become a very profitable business, but these sales projections seem only achievable if marketing is funded by the next planned investment rounds.
This round of investment provides considerable headroom to achieve break-even and the recurrent revenue model should help to manage the cash if the customers are retained.
If the forecast is achieved, investors could expect outstanding returns, however, if the platform does not function as intended it could be difficult to achieve any return at all.

Marketflow claim their use of machine learning will give them a competitive edge but the platform has only been backtested in a positive market trend, therefore any financial performance figures refer to the past and that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

They have certainly allowed for ample marketing spend to sign customers up. Two investment rounds (at least) will be needed to support the team's aggressive expansion plans and only early investors in this round will benefit from the most efficient SEIS tax scheme.
